Our Beliefs

We affirm the Bible as the truth, reliable, and inspired Word of God, and the basis for our beliefs. The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and everyday living.

We affirm that there is only one living and triune God, and that He exists in three persons: God, the Father; Jesus Christ, the Son of God; and the Holy Spirit. Each equal in power and in glory. We affirm that this Triune God created, upholds and governs all of creation.

We affirm God, the Father, is eternal omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. God is complete and absolute in His holiness, His righteousness and His justness. He is the Creator of all things.

We affirm that Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was with God, the Father, and the Holy Spirt from the beginning of creation, and through Him, all things were created. We affirm His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His sufferings, His atonement for the sins of all believers through death on the cross through the shedding of His blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God, the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

We affirm that the Holy Spirit is a divine person who eternally co-exists with God, the Father and Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We affirm that the Holy Spirit is equal to power and glory, and is together God, the Father and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to be believed in, obeyed and worshipped. We further affirm that the Holy Spirit lives within each Christian from salvation.

We affirm that in order to receive forgiveness for our sinful lives, we must believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and submit to His will for our lives, and repent and turn away from sin in every area of our lives to follow Him, which allows us to to receive His redemption and be regenerated with the Holy Spirit. We affirm that we are saved by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Salvation is a gift from God, and not a result of our good works or of any human effort.

We affirm that God created man in His image and are a supreme object of God's creation. We affirm that man is to exist forever either externally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. We affirm that Heaven is an eternal dwelling place for all of those saved through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and that hell is a literal place of eternal separation from God for those who are unsaved.

We affirm that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was physically resurrected from His bodily death at the cross, and rose again in a glorified body and conquered death. We affirm that this provides irrefutable evidence that this was a supreme validation of His deity, and validated the Scripture that foretold his coming and resurrection.

We affirm that once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, baptism is a symbolic way to publicly declare your new life with Christ. We affirm that this step of obedience is based on God, the Father's, commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who submitted himself to baptism to fulfill all righteousness.

We affirm that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, shall come from Heaven to earth, personally, bodily and visibly to everyone. Christ will set up His kingdom, judge His enemies justly with final and eternal judgment of people in every nation, and reward the faithful, both living and dead.
